I couldn't resist putting Nolan in this bowtie for church yesterday. He looked so handsome!!

Macy's Shower

On Saturday we had a family shower for Macy and Josh. I cannot believe they get married next weekend! We are so excited for them and can't wait for their big day! The shower was perfect and it was so nice seeing family that we don't get to see very often.

Wallace's Take on Canyonlands

Kirsten came in town a few days before President's Day weekend to visit. We had a great time with her and we were so glad she was finally able to meet Nolan. We hadn't seen Kirsten in over a year and a half so it was a much needed visit! We had fun catching up and going to dinner at Sugarhouse BBQ, getting Frozen Yogurt, had lunch at Tucano's - Jared was sung to for his birthday lunch, walking around City Creek and driving down to Canyonland's for the weekend. We went to Canyonlands to drop Kirsten off with Craig who would take her over to Denver to see the crew over there before heading back to Portlandia. We left for Canyonlands on Saturday morning. We met up with Craig at the City Market and enjoyed some food on the display patio furniture before heading out on the trail. Canyonlands was beautiful and the weather was absolutely perfect! It wasn't crowded at all - we couldn't have asked for a better day. We ate at La Hacienda for dinner and I can say we were all very hungry! We spent the night at Motel 6 in Green River before heading home on Sunday. It was a very fun weekend and i'm glad we were able to see Kirsten and Craig.

Happy {Heart} Day

Valentine's day was just perfect this year! We started out the morning by going to breakfast at the Park restaurant as a family. We practically had the place to ourselves and they even brought out crackers for Nolan to have. We dropped Ryan off at work - by 8:00 am and went back home. Since we had the car me and Nolan were able to run a few errands. That night we went to dinner with my parents at Red Robin. It was fun going out with them and our dinner was delicious! Ryan worked really late that night so I was glad we were able to spend the morning together. I love my boys and my family!! Thanks for making today so great!

My Little Buddy

I love spending my days with Nolan! We don't run too many errands since we don't have a car most days, so we spend our time eating, playing with toys, taking naps, singing songs and reading books together. I have loved being home with him and know it will be hard to leave my little buddy when I go back to work one day.

Nolan's First Utah Game

The game today was an afternoon game so I thought it would be fun to take Nolan to it. He did a great job at the game and didn't cry once. He loved all the lights and all the action during the game. I can't wait to take him to more games in the future and for him to love it just as much as I did growing up!

A fun side note: At the game on Thursday night it was just me and my mom who ended up going. We were selected as the row of the game (section X row 16)! That meant we were on the jumbo tron, received a free meal, free drink, a signed paper from the coach and a nice Ute basketball. It was a fun night and I am glad we ended up going to the game! :)
