On December 17 I took Nolan to see Santa. We went to the Santa shop in Sugarhouse. Annie came with us and we were so glad to have her come along. We waited in line for an hour and a half in the cold. Nolan was very good while we waited. I wasn't sure how he would react to Santa, but he walked right up to him. Santa had on a mickey watch and once Nolan saw that, he sat on his lap and talked to him. Santa asked Nolan what he wanted for Christmas and he said a candy cane. I thought that was funny, but when I saw that Santa had a basket of candy canes it made more sense. It was a good first experience visiting Santa, even though Nolan's face in the pictures would say otherwise.
