All Done!

The day finally came, December 17, for Ryan to graduate with his Master's of Architecture degree and we couldn't have been more excited about it! Ryan's mom and dad came in town for the event and it was fun having them in town to celebrate with us. I have been looking forward to this since he started school and feel like I earned the degree just as much as he did. :)
Ryan has done very well in school and finishing among the top of his class. He received a couple of scholarships during school, was a TA for 2 semesters, served as secretary and then as vice president of the graduate school student association, and got a 4.0 his last semester! Me and Nolan are very proud of him and are glad to be done with school!!

The ceremony was at the student center, and one of Ryan's committee members spoke, Tom Berrie which was very fitting. Ryan really liked Tom and so it was a nice treat to have him speak. When Ryan walked across the stage, I was so excited, proud and sad to be done with the school chapter of our life. After all the pictures were done, we went to a gathering at the college of design and then another one at David's Noodle Bar. We went out with his parents to NoFo in the 5 Points area for dinner which was a nice way to cap off the day!
